Overall Satisfaction with Druva Phoenix

Used across whole org to backup VMs, NFS, CIFS shares.

We want to reduce backup budget because tapes is costly and we have a complex on-prem setup. Annual support renewals and hardware renewals add to cost.

Main objective was to move backup to the cloud and reduce cost.
  • Cloud storage
  • Disaster recovery service
  • Vmware proxy.
  • Maybe a single proxy for NAS, CIFS, NFS, vCenter.
  • better error logs, not getting the info I need based on current logs.
  • Ability to do multiple schedules on a single policy?
  • reduce backup budget cost.
  • reduce IT headcount / man-hours
  • able to meet business continuance planning and DR.
Easy to setup. Backup/restore process is a breeze and web portal is easy enough for new user to figure out.
Support is excellent. Knowledgeable techs, quick turn arounds.
Lower cost of ownership and easy setup.
Easy setup and implementation, deducing to save storage.
easy management helps lean IT Dept to implement backup without too much outside help.
