Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

We use Druva Phoenix to backup our VMware datacenter nightly to an offsite cloud storage repository. The entire organization uses the prouduct. We solved slow on-prem backups that had random periodic issues.
  • Just runs...and runs successfully!
  • Dedupe and compression.
  • Reporting.
  • Integration to vCenter.
  • DR needs to be brought into the portal and not outsourced entirely through AWS' portal.
  • Druva actually cost us more than our previous Veeam solution, but well worth it!
Druva's dedupe and compression is more efficient than the previous we've used and provides greater WAN acceleration.
Druva works well in an environment where you need backups and specifically some sort of cloud based retention. It might not be best for organization with sensitive or classified data.
