Episerver is widely used in our organization, and we are using it to provide services to b2b customers (large building companies) and b2c customers (bathrooms) and for internal users (sales material, product data).
- Easy to use, low learning curve
- Customization is easy
- World class product
- We will need developer to install nuggets :(.
- In-river integrations were not as good as expected.
- No marketing automation or user analytics included
- With Episerver and in-river integration, our new product launch can be done in hours, not in days (and nights).
- We have built our whole b2b offer platform integrated to Episerver, saving time for our sales peoples.
- We can provide sales materials and product data, intranet, and offer/order system from one place to our internal customers.

Episerver is cheaper and easier to use than Hybris, but Episerver Commerce is not as modern or easy to use as Magento for Webshops. You will need a proper partner or your own dev team to handle customizations and deploys. Make sure that you will have a team of 3-4 people, and at least 4-6 months for a basic website.
