Overall Satisfaction with Equalweb

We use Equalweb to add accessibility tools for all the websites we develop for our clients.
  • The magnify feature for people who are near-sighted is particularly helpful for website visitors.
  • Equalweb tracks activations of accessibility tools on all our sites from a centralized dashboard so we can get a clear view of the data.
  • The customization option of the accessibility icon is useful so we can match the color scheme of the site.
  • The 2FA to login to the account only has the option for an automated call, not text message or an authentication app. This can get annoying to deal with on the long run, especially if you access the dashboard a lot.
  • Sometimes, the pricing tool has trouble detecting the number of pages on a site we just launched (it's still counting the pages on the old site) so the pricing choices that are presented are not accurate and I have to contact support to get the correct pricing package in place.
  • The last price increase wasn't too cheap.
  • A reseller option for accessibility tools.
  • A centralized dashboard to see activations and manage websites.
  • A way to see the number of activations and usage of accessibility tools on each site.
  • Provides extra value in our website maintenance package.
  • An edge over the competition in terms of website functionality.
UserWay has a free version as well, and a WordPress plugin. However, they are much more expensive and did not seem to offer the same level of value as Equalweb.

Equalweb is well suited to most web browsing experiences, especially desktop. If someone already has a screen reader or accessibility tools, the functionality overlap might not be ideal.
