Overall Satisfaction with EveryAction

We use EveryAction as our mass digital marketing CRM and are in the process of migrating our high-touch fundraising and direct mail programs over as well (from Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge NXT). Primary uses case currently are donation processing, outbound email and SMS, non-public events, and lead generation. We are integrating EveryAction with Shopify (eCommerce), Eventbrite (public events), and a learning management system.

Our initial implementation was ~6 months (migration from Blackbaud's Luminate Online) in total, although that timeline will roughly double when we bring over data from our non-digital programs (direct mail and high-touch fundraising) from Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge. Very good user documentation and training resources (live + recorded + written) – best in class from peers. Fairly happy with the level of personal consultation we've received, although we did have to pay up for that level of support.
Application errors have been limited, with 0 full-blown outages since we've used the tool. Uptime seems pretty good, and they've been proactive in server maintenance and notifying us of planned downtimes for certain features. Generic support requests have been a real pain point – days of non-replies and lack of coordination with our reps. They've had turnover in that area, but disappointing regardless.
We're up ~20% YoY, and coming off our best ever for digital fundraising within ~3 months of implementing the tool. It's not all attributable to EveryAction, but strong signals. Expecting similar increases this year as we integrate more resources into the tool and advance and standardize our uses cases.

By far the best user interface and documentation, wide feature set, and ability to integrate outside of walled gardens. EveryAction is the most usable out-of-the-box tool and extends well into other platforms.
In our experience, EveryAction is appropriate for small to mid-sized non-profit organizations that engage in a wide variety of fundraising operations. It is geared primarily towards political fundraising, and some of the vernacular and features are clearly oriented to campaign or issue-based fundraising, which makes the tool particularly apt for those organizations. That orientation has not proved to be a hindrance for our non-political fundraising, fortunately. However, I imagine some development time will be 'wasted' (from our perspective) in building out those features.
