Overall Satisfaction with Expensify

Expensify is being used across the entire company; however, the power users would be marketing, sales, and customer success. Expensify allows individuals flexibility while traveling to make their own purchases freely without worrying about the company not repaying them. I use Expensify on every business trip I take, as well as just random business expenses in town.
  • Expensify's mobile app is very good.
  • Very simple to submit receipts - just take a picture and the app does all the work.
  • It would be great if there were "explanation boxes" while selecting which department to match expenses to.
  • Sometimes misreads receipts.
  • Dramatically increases flexibility of teams to travel for business.
  • Easy to track and account for business expenses.
I have only used Expensify thus far in the workplace. I have never had an experience that would prompt me to look elsewhere. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the product.
I have never had to use Expensify support personally. However, I feel the app has been built very well to over-communicate what to expect throughout your reimbursement process (submit a receipt and you will receive a notification saying they are translating it, etc). When it comes to money, you can never communicate too much!

Expensify is extremely helpful if you have an organization where team members are ever traveling to different places at the same time (aka every organization!). This allows flexibility for employees to feel confident than any purchases they make while traveling for business will be promptly reimbursed and taken care of. Very good!
