Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting

We use it to market Open Enrollment information to our employer groups. We are able to relay links to the enrollment portal, brochures & information via PDF links, videos from the Employer HR department, and target market during or after the enrollment to folks that we are trying to get specific information to.
  • Formatting texts is easy, whether it's a simple message, or as complex as having multiple links and even sending a video and links together! Their messaging portal lets you see your formatting real time, so you can quickly know that your message is coming across how you want.
  • Adding contacts is quick and easy, whether it's manually adding one person, or uploading a 3000 contact file. It maps information from files (and is easy to correct if it guesses wrong- which is hardly ever). You can import them directly to groups as well, to better manage your campaigns.
  • It would be nice to know when the system is bogged down. There are times when messages are "sent" but are delayed in the actual relay by up to 45 minutes. We assume that it's when there is high usage of the system, but it would be nice to know so we can schedule messages a bit better, or send them immediately instead of unintentionally scheduling them to send during a high usage time.
  • It may not be possible, but it would be nice to have reporting on delivery of voice messages/voicemails.
  • I cannot put into words how great the ROI has been with this process. We just completed an enrollment with a company that in previous years did benefits enrollment via postcard (e.g. return this postcard if you want to make a change). We brought in EZ Texting with targeted marketing, information relay, and up-to-the-minute reporting and were able to write $400k of new business.
  • We've implemented this in multiple groups, and employers LOVE it. We've been asked to help some companies throughout the year with better communicating with their employees, not just during open enrollment. This greatly enhances our relationship with the account, and makes them view us as a cutting edge partner.
We got set up VERY quickly. Registration was done in minutes and a helpful sales tech gave me a quick overview on how to use the system and it's capabilities. We were sending text messages to test the system within an hour, and sending live campaigns within a few days.
It's so user-friendly. We had a group that wished to include a video in their messaging campaign and I was dreading the thought of trying to figure out how to host a video somewhere, how to get it in the system, and how to get it into the text message. However, I was able to drag and drop the video into our "library", and with a couple clicks had it added to the message just like I would a photo or link. It could not have been easier. It's been the same with embedded links or photos. Plus, being able to see a 'live shot' of what the text will look like makes it easy to spot where you didn't get your spacing or formatting just how you want it.
Their chat function or call support is easy to use for immediate help, as is their email support for times when I have a bit more of an involved question/issue. Their support staff are friendly and happy to help, and my interactions with them have always been positive. They've been able to solve my issue just about every time (and when they couldn't, it was because of a technology limit which they had no control over. There isn't a way to track if a voicemail has been delivered.)
We've used this function multiple times and it's simple to implement. A quick link to the photo in the library and it's attached! We've gotten good reviews of the photos, they come through clear and how intended, which is great; no compressed, fuzzy photos! Employer groups really appreciate when we use them, as it makes the information really "pop".
We haven't used this feature much.
We used Stratics Network previously, and their system was harder to use, their reporting wasn't as robust, and they just couldn't keep up with the capabilities of EZ Texting. We had issues with their system doing a "ringless voicemail" that would actually ring customers 3-4x in a row, which angered potential customers and their employer groups. One thing they did have an advantage on was being able to leave a longer voicemail (they didn't have a thirty second cap), however the enhanced texting capability of this system has all but made that obsolete for us.
It works great for our company, where we're trying to relay important information about enrolling in employee benefits to folks who may not be standing in front of a computer or their email inbox all day. We've used it with companies where their employees are in the field all day (transportation, home healthcare, etc) and employer groups have said that they had better participation than they've gotten in years, in large part to better, more efficient communication.
