Overall Satisfaction with Flock

As a small IT services organization, we needed a software for internal communication and sharing infrmation between team members. Flock had all the features that suited our needs. File sharing, direct chat and group communication helped our teams to collabaorate and work together as a team for developing software projects effectively and on time.

Flock's simple design, good aesthetics and easy to use helps us meet our team collaboration goals. It is easy to onboard a new user and the learnig curve to use the tool is simple. One can quickly send messages and share files and documents to team members and set up integratio with third party applications like Google Drive etc.
In my opinion, Flock is not the best among the listed products in terms of extensive features that other products listed provides but has it's own place in the communication and team collboration domain. I think Flock works well for smaller teams and organizations looking for a solution to just meet the day to day team communication and collaboration needs.

In my opinion, Flock is best suited for small and medium organizations with need for a low cost solution and quick and easy setup without the need for a lot of administration and maintenenance. It might not suit the needs of large organizations who need a commercial team collaboration product with a bigger feature set.

Using Flock

10 - Most of the people using the tool in the organization are software developers and QA people. They work on client projects in small team sizes. They collaborate on artifacts such as requirements analysis, design documents and code implementation. They use Flock to discuss ideas, suggestions and answer queries. During testing phase, QA team coordinates with developers on QA issues and bug fixes via Flock.
2 - There are 2 Administrators that provide in-house support for Flock on an on-ongoing basis. One person is from the HR team and another is a Senior Solutions Architect.
