A must-have for any accounting team
Overall Satisfaction with FloQast
One of the biggest problems we used to face was account balances changing after having been reconciled, but the reconciliations were not being updated to reflect the changes in the account balances. FloQast makes it very easy to identify when account balances have changed after already having been reconciled and reviewed. Additionally, everyone involved with the close process had to manage their own to-do lists and due dates, whereas it is all streamlined in FloQast, and everyone can see all items and due dates.
Pros
- Notifies when account balances have changed and reconciliations need to be updated.
- Notifies when items are past due and require attention.
- Reviewers can leave review notes and comment on specific reconciliations and assign a responsible party to the note.
Cons
- We tried to use the autorec function for prepaids but have not grasped why it is more useful than using the built-in amortization functionality in Netsuite.
- Improved team collaboration
- More individual responsibility
- Improved visibility into what items take the longest each month
FloQast has really cleaned up our month close process, and while we are still working each month to reduce our close timeline, it is more organized, and we have more insight into what factors we can work on to improve and further reduce the timeline.
I utilize the audit trails and checklist items for audit support.
