Overall Satisfaction with Flutter, by Google
I use it for small apps that need to be cross-platform and without too advanced features or resource-intensive utilization.
- Cross-platform.
- Easy to prototype.
- Easy to have platform specific logic.
- Flutter doctor.
- Specific API, especially no support for Apple Pencil.
- Same thing for coreML.
- Not a real IDE dedicated for Flutter.
- Google product, can be dropped at any time.
- Cross platform
- Simple to learn.
- Faster iteration cycle
- One code base to handle
- Xamarin and React Native
Way less tweaking to have a cross-platform experience, better performance, and feels more like a native app.
But the community, while growing, is still smaller than React Native. This can cause issues with specific use cases as it's harder to find help online.
