Overall Satisfaction with Fortinet FortiGate
We use Fortigate across the whole organization. It is used for firewall/IPS/Web filtering.
- UTM provides comprehensive security, which is great
- Easy to use GUI
- Great support
- Site-to-site vpn - would like to configure using wizard. currently, I use manual configuration.
- Additional reports on web site usage statistics
- Failover / redundancy
- Easy to maintain, which means less time spent to monitor
- URL filtering is great
- Fortianalyzer is a plus
UTM comprehensive security is a plus.

We had to come up with a way to block certain web sites for all users but allow it for a few users. support provided a workaround, which worked.
