We use Gong to track keywords, and analyze and revisit calls/meetings we've had with prospects.
Pros
- Scorecards help provide structured feedback
- Trackers provide deeper analytics
- Easy to use and train new employees on
- Helps keep track of deals and keep on top of next steps
Cons
- Further multi-language capability (with translation for speech-to-text) would be incredible!!
- The search connection between Salesforce & Gong could be improved (easier to search for specific calls/accounts)
- Helped me ramp faster
- Helps track my commitments from calls
- Helps me stay accountable and hold my team accountable
AI insights have allowed me to stay on top of (even get ahead of) next steps that have been committed in calls tracked through Gong. Being able to track key words helps when launching new products or features, and ensure we're constantly improving.
Gong allows us to see what type of objections are coming up most and what kind of challenges our customers are facing - which we're able to turn around and use as pain statements and help us in discovery and even cold calling.
