Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong to record calls and obtain analytics on conversations to further help in training and moving the sales process along with a client.

  • Tracking historical calls.
  • Transcriptions can be funky or disorganized.
  • It helps me save time and push deals forward.
  • It helps me track my deals and align more with pipeline and actual forecasting.
  • It positively impacts the training and knowledge sharing with new hires and tenured reps.
  • It helps to have a history of performance to better acknowledge praise and accomplishment within reps.
I think it's intuitive while still being in-depth and detail-oriented. You can easily dial into calls and understand interactions and response rates from prospects.
For sales development, this is an invaluable tool to help ramp new hires, provide feedback, build out training modules, track performance, and share best practices for reps as they are cold calling. For more tenured reps and new reps alike, this is a great way to watch back demos and understand areas of improvement/success or dial in on talk tracks that really work with prospects.
The key word tracker really helps teams understand what needs, goals, problems, or questions companies have about our product and space to better personalize outreach on a micro level and marketing campaigns on a more macro/ company level. The talk time tracker and connection rate tracker helps teams understand trends in slower sales periods and inform metrics for reps.

Gong is great for training and reflection with reps. I use it mostly to listen back to my calls, learn from other reps and track keywords.
