Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

Our company uses [Gong.io] for all customer recordings. We have a "notetaker" that automatically joins all non-employee meetings, making it easier than ever to record sessions. If a customer is not comfortable with the recording, we just kick out the "notetaker" from the meeting invite. As a Product Designer, [Gong.io] has made recording user testing sessions significantly easier. With the transcript tool, finding previous recordings to support projects has been a game changer. Highly recommend this tool to anyone who is looking for an easy way to store sessions for internal purposes!
  • Transcript and search function makes it easy for you to focus on the customer conversation and revisit the session later.
  • With the note-taker automatically joining our meetings, we no longer need to remember to click that extra record session button.
  • If the transcript can appear next to the video vs in a separate page, that will make it a lot easier to use and follow and check for typos.

We used to store our recordings on Zoom Cloud, but because we already use Google for everything, switching to [Gong.io] just made more sense.

Do you think Gong delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Gong's feature set?

Yes

Did Gong live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Gong go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Gong again?

Yes

[Gong.io] is great for companies that conduct user research and need an easy way to find customer insights for project briefs and data to back that up.

For companies that deal with a lot of private data (i.e. medical, financial, etc.), I would not recommend [Gong.io] as majority of your sessions probably should not be recorded.
