Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong.io for sales calls to record and track calls. We are able to share call recordings, skip to specific call snippets and use Gong.io metrics to find areas of calls within longer recordings, so we don't spend an hour listening to a recording when we just need to share a few minutes of the recording.
  • Analyze call recordings
  • Show call details and points of interest
  • Share calls and presentation materials from calls
  • Not able to rate calls or tag them (would be nice to have a folder of all IT calls, for example)
  • It integrates with Salesforce but doesn't always transfer all the activities
  • Notes on a call - when listening to a recording, we typically have notes on a separate doc, but if there were sticky notes or comments available, we could share a feed style commentary
  • Helped with sales collaboration
  • Helped us identify sales opportunities
I was never formally trained on Gong.io, and I am able to get all the information I need out of it.

If you have a large sales team, Gong.io is very helpful. Especially for remote workers who don't always hear their colleagues' phone conversations for learning and development. It makes it very easy to create snippets to save time but also provides detailed information about topics covered and who was speaking throughout the call.
