Overall Satisfaction with Google Calendar

The problems Google Calendar addresses is being able to find and schedule meetings with our coworkers that do not overlap with any of our schedules. Google Calendar is used extensively at our organization since meetings occur daily.
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Viewing other people's availability
  • Viewing other people's work locations
  • Attaching links, documents, descriptions, etc. to our meetings
  • Ability to more easily request coworkers to share their calendars
  • Setting working location biweekly
  • Increased productivity and organization
Notion is great for organizing personal tasks, which Google Calendar isn't the best for. However, Google Calendar is the best for co-working due to its direct Google Meets links, simplicity, and ability to view other people's schedules. Google Calendar is also better to access compared to Apple calendar since everyone with a Google workspace (which all my coworkers do) can use it.

Do you think Google Calendar delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Google Calendar's feature set?

Yes

Did Google Calendar live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Google Calendar go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Google Calendar again?

Yes

Google calendar is well suited for working environments (especially those that operate virtually or hybrid) or scheduling meetings with other teammates/organizations that you're a part of. For some, it works to schedule daily tasks and personal activities as well, but I personally find that it is not as helpful/appropriate for these cases.
