Overall Satisfaction with Google Cloud Storage

Google Cloud Storage is used across the organization for sharing of documents, gathering data, accessing data, and deploying APIs. As mentioned, the software is used across the organization to enable secure storage, while also enabling simultaneous access to all the company's data sets.
  • Perhaps the strongest advantage of Google Cloud Storage is that they seem to update files quicker than competing cloud storage providers. The software rarely runs into sharing violations or access issues.
  • Google Cloud Storage has a unified API, which is nice when authorizing others to access data.
  • The software rarely fails and handles large volumes of data well.
  • The software sometimes doesn't play nice with certain software programs.
  • Google Cloud Storage sometimes creates conflicting copies of the same data set.
  • Google Cloud Storage's unified API generally works great but doesn't seem to be as fast as Amazon's service.
  • Google Cloud Storage has had a positive ROI from the perspective of making data sets available to all users at all times. This saves time and money.
  • Google Cloud Storage's API is great for accessing data across multiple platforms. This component also represents a positive ROI.
  • Google Cloud Storage works well for most technically minded individuals. With that said, older individuals, used to their ways of saving and sharing documents, won't find much positive ROI in the software.
It seems obvious that Google has put a lot of effort into making Google Cloud Storage a top competitor in the cloud storage business. The software performs comparatively well on latency, data access, and API management. On the downside, the software is not the fastest for latency or the best for user control or versioning.
Google Cloud Storage offers one of the best cloud storage solutions. The performance is fine, data loads relatively quickly, and reports update in a reasonable amount of time. The software does seem to slow down statistics programs when connected with Google Cloud.
Google products are generally very user-friendly. Google Cloud Storage is no different. Management of Google Cloud Storage is very easy, with no programming experience required. In fact, managing Google Cloud Storage could be done by almost anyone who is not too technically challenged. Usability is about as easy as it gets.
Google Cloud Storage is well-suited for instances in which users are used to the simple business storage version (Google Stream), or individuals need to have access to the same files at the same time. The software also has little latency, so if you want a software that syncs well, Google Cloud Storage does just that.
