Google Hangouts (Classic) was our internal communication tool including chats groups and audio video calls. Google Hangouts (Classic) helps us to connect to every colleague. Sometimes Google Hangouts (Classic) feels buggy, but overall it’s a good tool. After the introduction of Google Chat, our organization switched to Google Chat, and now we are no longer using Google Hangouts (Classic) is not being used

Google Hangouts Chat

Google Hangouts (Classic) is just as good as any of its competitors. Google Hangouts (Classic) has everything that is needed for an internal communication tool, besides the software makes work really fun with the cool and funny stickers. I have personally liked using Google Hangouts (Classic) at work and have used it for more than a year.

Usability

The Google Hangouts (Classic) app is buggy and sometimes it won’t work as expected, which frustrates me. Basically, I use the Google Hangouts (Classic) iOS application for chats and video/audio calls, which drains my phone's battery quickly. The overall design is not contemporary, but it’s a decent app with all the features need for a communication app.

For day to day communications, audio calls and video Hangouts do the job perfectly well. It would be great if we had the ability to integrate it with chat bits for common queries and questions. If we had the ability to integrate Google Hangouts (Classic) with other project management tools, the overall work efficiency of employees would increase.
