Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets

Google sheets is great for helping organize data. We use it in conjunction with Google forms to collect and analyze information from clients and colleagues. We can then use the data to produce charts and graphics which provide a better visual representation. We use Sheets on a daily basis throughout our organization and have found them to be very effective for collaboration and sharing.
  • Organization of data.
  • Production of graphs for better visual effects.
  • Ease of collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • I would like to see more shortcuts for formulas. It appears that some improvements have been made as compared to competitors, but for novice users this would be beneficial.
  • There are so many tools within sheets but users are probably unfamiliar with them. It would be great if there were some automatic suggestions from the program that users could turn off if they didn't want to use them.
  • We have used it to manage a database of nearly 250 clients and it works very well.
  • We collect data on hundreds of colleagues and it helps us sort, organize, and be more efficient with their information.
Google sheets has a clear advantage. It is more simple to use for daily applications, allows for easier collaboration, and has portability (offline working). It allows for easy sharing and integration with other Google online programs such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Forms.

Offline editing is great for working remotely when wifi may not be readily available. It is also great for conversion of Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers documents. When working with large datasets, it seems like Excel can handle more data better than Google sheets. It also works well with other Google programs such as docs. Some users report that formulas work better in Excel. Overall, for most applications, Google sheets has a clear edge for me.
