Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Google Voice is being used as a way to make VOIP calls on an app through my personal iPhone which is managed by the employer through Microsoft MDM. It is primarily just being used by me and a small team around me. The business problems it solves is the necessity of using a phone that is internal and relatively secure and not known to the public as opposed to the office phone.

Google Voice was perfect for the small team setting where we needed to coordinate calls from time to time with urgency and supported call forwarding in a manner consistent with the services we need to provide to our clients.

Support Rating

Google Voice support is nearly non-existent and could use some help with providing phone support. I assume this is a Google feature and makes this company more secure than others.

Google Voice is well suited for individual to small team use. It is not intended to be used by large enterprises in my opinion. I think it also requires additional features of support should it be used in a larger team environment where mission-critical help may be necessary down the line.
