Overall Satisfaction with Google Workspace Essentials (formerly G Suite Essentials)

We use Google Workspace Essentials for our cloud-hosted office applications for easy creation, collaboration, organization, and productivity from any location with access to the Internet. We also use it for live chat, email, video conferencing, and group chats on a daily basis to stay productive in a dynamic work environment. We use Gmail, Google Docs including Sheet and Slides, we use Google Drive for files, Google Calendar for scheduling, Google Meets for meetings every single workday. Effectively we can attend to our clients' and organization's needs together where we are able to see what is happening across the board in real-time to stay effective and efficient in our work.

Google Workspace Essentials balance well when stacked against Microsoft 365 Business Premium. With Google, it is easier and cost-effective, no-frills use and with sync capability for all devices. With Microsoft 365, it is similar but with a steeper learning curve, costly to maintain, yet it does have a few additional functions within the Office suite of applications that Google has not been able to level up against to date.

Google Workspace Essentials has been great for our non-profit due to the cost not being a factor. The software is flexible and easy to learn and with incoming employees coming into a fast pace environment it has become imperative in ensuring that the learning curve is not steep and easy to follow. The only issue that we have currently is that governmental entities that we work with are sometimes not able to access Google for security reasons and this limits our collaboration efforts.
