Overall Satisfaction with Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)

We as a business used Google Workspace tools to collaborate on multi-user files and cloud computing opportunities across our business. We implemented it in 2015 and have since consolidated our cloud software to exit the Google Workspace of products for another vendor, but I continue to use the tools personally where I can.
  • Multi user interface.
  • Autosave and version history.
  • Notifications
  • Sheets tools were lacking in comparison to other tools.
  • Government restrictive projects and lack of secure cloud locations.
  • Collaboration
  • Ease of use
  • Duplication of tools with other software.
  • Restrictive storage locations and known data storage places.
  • Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
The tools are similar, however, in Excel and Sheets specifically, Microsoft is much more useful in transforming and manipulating a lot of data.

Do you think Google Workspace delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Google Workspace's feature set?

No

Did Google Workspace live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Google Workspace go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Google Workspace again?

Yes

It is very useful to use in a cloud environment, however, if you or your business works on various restricted programs, the higher level of secure cloud storage is required to remain in compliance.
