Overall Satisfaction with Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)

I use Google Workspace in multiple organizations. First and foremost, Google's mail services are second to none. Organizationally, cloud access to calendars, drive, documents, etc. are a must-have for managing any business or organization. In my current position, our team uses Google Workspace to bring the whole organization together with calendar, room booking, docs, file sharing, etc.
  • Email
  • Calendar
  • Shared docs and files
  • Chat has always been sub-par. We use alternatives.

  • Brings multiple tools together, saving cost
  • Facilitate communication, saving time and making decision making easier
  • Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
I've used Office 365 in the past, along with some of Zoho's tools, and none of them have delivered the experience that I get from Google Workspace. Office 365 was slow and cumbersome when I evaluated it, and the interoperability of Google apps far surpasses that which I can get with Microsoft products.

Do you think Google Workspace delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Google Workspace's feature set?

Yes

Did Google Workspace live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Google Workspace go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Google Workspace again?

Yes

Google Workspace is a solid choice for organizations of any size. We use it with a team of 250, but I also use it for side projects with small teams and even have an "organization" for my personal email. Because its tools are so ubiquitous and integrated into most any platform, there are very few scenarios in which I wouldn't recommend using it. The only places where I wouldn't see it being appropriate — and I'm completely speculating here — would be if your organization had very strict privacy or security policies.
