Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
We use GoTo Meeting to host webinars, and training internally. We typically have over 100 people joining the meetings so GoTo Meeting has been essential in making it easy for us all to connect, learn, record and share after. So many features including screen share, changing presenters, number of attendees, and more have helped us streamline our company education.
- It allows users to have full control over the equipment of a participant so we can change presenters, and have multiple people on a panel at one time.
- You can share documents in real time so we can distribute the material needed for the training during the meeting.
- It permits large meetings and allows us to connect our team all over the world.
- For the most part, joining a meeting with GoTo Meeting is a painless process. If you have the app already, then just click on a shared link and you’re good to go. There are times when the connection doesn’t happen, however, and the reasons may be unknown. A simple glitch in the routing process to connect to the meeting can be enough to disrupt the entire process.
- High costs for the premium features to get the most out of GoTo Meeting. There should be a better offering of plans for small, and startup businesses.
- The Virtual Whiteboarding tool allows our teams to get creative, and work together in the moment of inspiration to see high-level concepts and dive deeper to improve our business. Having this tool at our disposal has saved us from headaches later when trying to remember the team's ideas. It's easily shareable and easy to interact with.
- Being able to share Desktop views has improved the quality of our meetings so we can share prototypes, and examples for better understanding during presentations.
- Joining via Mobile Options has been a lifesaver for remote teams and is inclusive to everyone. There are no barriers to hopping on a call and being part of the team and getting all the same information no matter where you are in the world.
GoTo Meeting has quality recordings, and very few internet connection problems compared to others like Zoom, and ring central. Webex tends to have frequent glitches during meetings which can be embarrassing for important clients. With GoTo Meeting we have peace of mind that meetings will run smoothly, and there are no tech issues to resolve live. Changing sharing options and control in the meeting is seamless and makes us feel empowered compared to those other softwares that cause frustration.

Yes - webex was our past product, there were too many connection failures and audience limitations that no longer met our needs. The product was not easy to use on the go, and required many hours in downtime for employees to be standing by for tech issues.
