Overall Satisfaction with GoToMeeting

We used to use GoTo Meeting before switching to Zoom. GoTo Meeting had certain functionalities that were great but it wasn't as reliable in the end. It's great for audio conferencing, not as much for video conferencing.
  • It's great for connecting people
  • It makes collaborating with remote employees easy
  • Reliability is an issue. Lots of dropped calls.
  • There's a complicated login process with access codes and numbers. Clients get confused.
  • We lost lots of calls with clients due to using this product
  • Clients dreaded conference calls with us because they'd have to use their computer or a weird call in system.
It was easy for me to use but it wasn't easy for clients to use. Being in the system daily makes it easier to learn the quirks of the software, but it was always difficult to explain to a large group of clients how to use and what to expect.
  • Zoom
We switched to Zoom because of its one-tap call in system. Users love it and can use it from their phone or computer. It's very easy to integrate with the calendar and higher quality overall.
It's well suited for conference calls but it's not as seamless as some other tools. It has a complicated dial up process and I've had lots of users get confused or refuse to use the tool because they can't figure out which numbers to use.
