Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
I used GoTo Meeting for weekly coordination meetings with other construction trades. The departments that I used it with were architects, engineers, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and construction managers. The company I work for also uses it for learning conference calls. The problem I run into is it's hard to get in at times even after dialing the phone number given by the host.
- Easy to use at office environments.
- Share documents.
- Great for conference calls and meetings.
- Great on desktops.
- Not great for remote work.
- Video meetings are not that easy.
- Not great on mobile devices.
- Sometimes GoTo Meeting is delay[ed] and holds scheduled meetings back.
- Great when it works. Gets coordination meetings rolling.
- It's clear on most office phones.
I have been using Microsoft Teams in a new company I work for and so far it has been great for [working] remotely. It is easy to use and I don't need a lot of devices to get it going. Everything is all on the laptop. It is nice to not have to dial any phone numbers vs. going into a meeting with a click of a button and waiting for the host to accept.
