Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a 100% remote-based organization. Grasshopper enables us to have a phone system that connects to our employees whether they are in the office, on the road, etc. The virtual nature of the system allows incredible flexibility for us while giving us a very professional image. We recommend it highly to our clients as well.

Pros and Cons

Configuration.
Ease of use.
Voice quality.

Easier process for using the Grasshopper Voice Studio. The results are great, but the process was cumbersome.
A desktop VOIP phone would be great to compete with the likes of Vonage, 8X8, RingCentral, etc.
Call transfers are not as easy as a desk top system.

Grasshopper is great for small businesses with a mobile workforce. It is ideal for trade contractors, professional services companies, and any small business office environment where you don't deal with call transfers, intercom functionality, and a traditional receptionist. We used it to replace our receptionist -- while increasing our professional image.
