Overall Satisfaction with Greenhouse

We implemented Greenhouse as our company-wide Applicant tracking system. We wanted a product that had been around and was stable, had a lot of easy integrations, and was very user-friendly at a competitive price. I replaced Lever with Greenhouse ATS at my last company and was excited happy to bring it to Securly.

Pros

  • Ease of use for recruiters , employees, managers, and candidates.
  • Easy Integrations (you don’t have to rely on IT) with tons of platforms and other products to improve the effectiveness of the entire recruiting cycle.

Cons

  • It needs a numerical 1-5 rating in addition to, or in place of, a thumbs up or down.
  • Support is all email and very hard to get anyone live.
  • We can see a large number of applicants.
  • Decreased time to hire.
Greenhouse is the Tesla of ATS. It is the most innovative and effective, but it is still competitively priced. It is not clunky and hard to use like an Icims, and it has way more features and is easier to scale with your business than ever.

I find Greenhouse to be the perfect platform for rapidly growing small to mid-size companies. I have brought it to the last 2 high growth tech startups I have worked at. One firm grew from a couple hundred to about 700 in 2 years. The other grew from 60- 200 in about 2 years. Greenhouse was loved by the founders, employees, and hiring managers. The platform can scale with the organization rapidly and effectively. I am not sure how it would fare in a Fortune 500/1000 org because I have not used it there. But for any startup, small, medium, or large business, I know this is a good solution.

Greenhouse Support

Support is good, but is all done over email or chat. They have a great online portal with tons of best practices and how-tos.
