Overall Satisfaction with Groove

We use Groove across sales, CS and marketing to prospect, expand accounts, CBR check ins, and align marketing campaigns with sales follow up messaging. We heavily utilize the integrations with Gmail and SFDC - still need to get more mature on use of Flows, but that is on our end - not Groove's.
  • Integrations with your core systems (Gmail & SFDC specifically for us).
  • Customer Success - both of our CSMs over the past two years have been incredible.
  • Feature feedback - they are pretty transparent and consistent with feature updates, the why and how it impacts their users.
  • There can be bugs with the chrome extension that cause users to have to turn off and back on the extension - especially following platform updates.
  • Like most cadence tools - it can be tough to navigate for new users fluidly.
  • As an admin - I would like more expansive visibility to what flows and templates are out there and their level of availability (still far too user specific on visibility).
  • Active selling time is higher due to less admin work needed on activity logging.
  • More aligned marketing/Sales messaging.
Groove focused on integrations and building workflows that fit into the reps' current stack - whereas several of the competitive products out there, you need to really live in their system and switch back and forth between systems. Also, the competitors built their tools largely from a BDR perspective - and Groove is a much more versatile revenue team productivity as a whole (CS, Sales, even some event marketing).
I have had 2 CSMs during our vendor partnership, and they have both been extremely responsive and knowledgeable - they are truly some of the most value-add components of the company!

Groove has prioritized its product maturity where it matters - integrations to the core systems their users are in on a daily basis. Many cadence tools force you to be in their platform to maximize value - Groove really allows you to keep current workflows with users on how they use email and CRM, so it is less change management impact.

The two areas I would like to see some improvements are:
1. Admin level visibility (I am just as blind as some users to all the flows built and available).
2. Meeting syncing (the sync works well, but reps still have to go into either google cal or CRM to update the type of meeting - which is manual and many times forgotten).
