Overall Satisfaction with Groove

I use Groove daily to send out mass emails. Groove allows me to email large groups of people and keeps track of all the necessary analytics for me to make sure my emails are efficient, are being delivered, and keeps me in the know so I do not exceed my email limit both daily or weekly. Groove allows me to see who has opened my emails, who has clicked on a link or who is not getting emails delivered because their email is invalid. Additionally, I am able to avoid emailing the same people who may be in another campaign which happens quite often.

  • Allows me to complete simple campaigns and bring in reports from Salesforce which is where I create the lists of people to email.
  • Automated reporting and emailing is not that intuitive.
  • Sometimes I over email because a campaign is still sending and I think I have more room to email but once the campaign is done, I have found that I have exceed my limit. If a campaign is in the middle of sending out the emails every ten seconds then I wish there was a reminder or warning so that I could plan better.
  • In terms of functionality, it is frustrating when searching through my organizations flows, that if I click back, we go right back to all and have to start at the beginning of all flows. For instance, if I click on All flows and I search. After I search a keyword, all the flows show up that have that word associated with the flow. However, after choosing a flow to look at, if I decide I don't like and press back, we go back to the starting All list and not that search.

I wish we had more training with it. I think there are some functions (as I have already mentioned) that could be more user friendly. I do appreciate the chat and support feature though and I know your team has been super responsive to problems that arise.
I think Groove is much more intuitive and has far more capabilities such as tracking calls, scheduling meetings.

Groove is well suited for large campaigns - any mass email campaign for more than 25 people. It is also good for when you need to track a link or see who has opened an email so you have a list of people to follow up with. It also helps if you email A LOT of people often because you get a good idea of what subjects tend to draw more opens. It also keeps those already in a campaign sorted so you don't over email people. Lastly, I love that we can see other colleagues' emails and strategies - it's a great place to have everyone centrally work out of and collaborate. It would be less appropriate if you only needed to email a handful of people or if the email wasn't your main outreach strategy.
