Overall Satisfaction with Heap

Heap helps us understand data ON DEMAND within our platform: user patterns, feature adoption, conversion rates, etc. It is mainly used by Product and Growth teams and has become an important part of our decision-making and road-mapping processes.
  • On demand data: no need to wait for user traction
  • Filtering of data for analysis
  • Setting up events to track
  • Event visualizer: frequently does not launch at the first, second, third, or fourth attempt
  • Saved analysis vs just saved reporting
  • Increased engagement
  • Additional monthly average users
  • More aligned product roadmapping
With Heap Goals are easier to set up (don't need devs or other correlated platforms). We can get unique, specific user identities and their paths (it's not all anonymous data). Tracking can be set up and with historical reporting already flowing in. Reporting is easier to set up with specific filters and views.

Do you think Heap delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Heap's feature set?

Yes

Did Heap live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Heap go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Heap again?

Yes

Heap is great for tracking and analyzing user behaviors on our platform. It's not as good with determining depth or scale (i.e. it can track that someone has referred a colleague, but since it's not tracking with other systems it doesn't know how many someones has referred). We also have to be careful in our set up of events that we are tracking a unique aspect vs one shared across the platform: the flexibility Heap provides is great, it's more on us to be careful of what we're tracking.
