Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite

Hootsuite Pro allows us to schedule out over 2 months of posts ahead of the dates we actually have them post. They help us keep full track of what is going on with all of our social accounts by providing great insights (data) on what the outcome of each post is and our social account as a whole.
  • Scheduling content.
  • Posting content remotely.
  • Collaborating with team members.
  • Shows great stats.
  • Helps us keep track of conversations using keywords we care about.
  • Makes it easier to post random content we find online on other websites.
  • Instagram data is limited.
  • Cannot post directly to Instagram through Hootsuite Pro.
  • There is no automation at all for following/unfollowing/responding to people.
  • Helps us save time by making the posting experience faster.
  • Saves time by making the searching for potential customers on Social Media faster.
  • Helps us show clients what is going on in their industries.
We actually find that all of the different social programs help in different ways. I would say Hootsuite Pro is better than Buffer or Sprout Social by far, however, it's not as powerful in analytics or data scraping as their other tool called uberVU, which we also pay for and use daily.
Where it works well: If you manage multiple (or dozens) of channels and need content posted to lots of channels fast without having to sign in and out of the channels, while also getting good data on each account all in one centralized place.

Less: If you need to grow your followers significantly, or unfollow mass amounts of people. Also, it doesn't work well with DM's.

Hootsuite Customer Engagement and Support

Hootsuite has helped us build out full personas of potential customers and users on social media based on the keywords they are using. for example, one of our clients we have a notification setup for people who type in the words "Broken Phone Case" and then have an easy stream in HootSuite that allows us to contact them on the spot and give them promo offers on a new phone case as well as understand their needs.
Hootsuite takes their tools and customer support to the next level. They even have https://education.hootsuite.com/ which allows people to get certified as hootsuite professionals. Their help center is amazing, the training resources in the educational site are great for all of our team who touches social to use as the basis for their understanding social media. Thankfully the tools are so intuitive that onboarding hasn't been an issue that we've dealt with.

5 - Social Media Managers and Marketing Executives are using Hootsuite Pro to help run and maintain our own social channels and presence, while also providing great support for our clients' channels and presence as well. It also helps keep us posted on what the customers or potential customers of our clients are saying as it relates to keywords.
