Overall Satisfaction with Planful (formerly Host Analytics)

Host Analytics is used for our primary financial reporting tool across the organization. It is also utilized as the primary source of financial budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ease of reporting - both financial and non-financial personnel are able to run reports when they're needed
  • Customization - straightforward, flexible, and virtually limitless ways to slice, dice, and view data
  • Coordination - ability to align processes across multiple business organizations to achieve greater efficiency and enhance productivity
  • Scalable - can readily handle small or large amounts of data
  • Certain types of budget data can be slow to load depending on volume and complexity of data as well as connectivity
  • Due to the large variety of ways to report data, it can sometimes be too easy to run a slightly different report based on one or two characteristics or versions, and end up with a different set of results
  • Able to improve finance department information output and reduce reliance on inconsistent processes
  • Increased efficiency with customized reporting
Scalability and flexibility make Host Analytics a good option for many medium to large enterprises. It handles large amounts of data well and can be customized to work with your business. It might not be cost effective for very small businesses.
