This solution is primarily used by finance for consolidations reporting and budgeting and forecasting.
- Host does a decent job of reporting summary account level data.
- Host reports collections with bursting capabilities.
- Host provides some efficiencies for structuring variables for use in reporting.
- Reporting graphically is cumbersome.
- Data structure is limited.
- The application is a bit slow.
- Definitely improved efficiency of reporting over all for information that we had to compile in Excel.
- Increase access to all users to a wide range of reporting.
- Negative is that finance managed FP&A tools required development of a finance team to support them. This is costly unless your team has extra bandwidth.
I was not a decision maker. Host lacks language capabilities for large global companies. Host also lacks planning or reporting capability for any time increments less than one month.
