Overall Satisfaction with HotSchedules

We use it to schedule retail staff, communicate, and try to forecast sales for weeks ahead.
  • Graphically intuitive
  • Updating through different forms of communication
  • Covers a wide array of aspects, not just scheduling
  • Editing punches through a shift
  • Sometimes there are glitches when I am dragging shifts to a staff member.
  • Cannot access multiple windows very well, if I want to double check someone's message or availability while making the schedule I have to exit the scheduling tab to access the availability.

  • Starbucks Global Labor System
A little more in-depth with metrics on labor forecasting, and you can edit punches throughout the day, but it's relatively the same program.
Good if you need a "one stop shop" for business practices, not as advanced as the scheduling system at my previous job.
