Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

We use it throughout our entire organization, as well as on behalf of our clients. Data and analytics are a HUGE part of what we do as inbound is still really new in our market so we utilize all of the tools HubSpot has. Content creation is another major component and the tools in HubSpot allow us to do that in a clear and simple manner. This saves us time and helps our clients better understand what we do.
One of my favourite features of HubSpot is the ability to do A/B split testing; it allows us to really focus on what resonates with each clients' ideal target personas.

  • The support representatives are amazing - I never fear having to contact them for help.
  • This is the only tool we've found so far that has great options with Call-to-Action(CTAs) and split testing in the way we like to utilize it. That alone was one of the huge selling features.
  • The platform is ridiculously easy to use. Everything is laid out in easy-to-follow steps and if you've missed something, the software will let you know.
  • The training is amazing, I love the webinars.
  • Would love to see an e-commerce platform added to HubSpot
  • This is kind of a nit-picky point but you used to be able to adjust indents on bulleted/numbered lists (on blog posts and landing pages) and now you're no longer able to. I miss that feature.
  • The knowledge base (in help, to search for a question) almost seems like there's too much information in there. It can be really hard to find specific info sometimes.
  • We've seen a huge increase in web traffic and conversion rates for our clients, and a definitive increase in ROI.
  • Our own company use has brought up productivity levels as we aren't wasting as much time with other software platforms that don't do everything we need.
  • We have faster follow-up times with potentials and better ideas of what areas they have needs in as a result of tracking and analytics. This means we are better prepared when doing initial meetings/proposals.
When comparing costs, HubSpot's functionality and ease of use came out as the clear winner. Other products do the same things HubSpot does, but not necessarily all of them, or at a comparable price point. Some may not cost as much but we lose a lot of the options we have with HubSpot. It's a very well-rounded product. We've found HubSpot to be the best of both worlds for features and pricing.
For most clients, we produce a proposal for them that includes HubSpot in it because of the ease of use and the functionality of it. The only time it doesn't work (and we won't offer it as a solution) is when pricing is a major factor for the potential client. We may offer it as a high-end option, but most of the time we'll look for other solutions that can solve the potential's concerns. So of course, a key question for us is budget. If HubSpot can fit in the budget, that's what we go with. The only other time it's not a good fit (excluding budget) is if the client needs e-commerce functionality. Then it can be difficult to integrate it with another system.

Using HubSpot

We love it. It's really that simple. It's been a part of our company for almost two years and I can't imagine trying to find something else to replace it. Why would we? It does pretty much everything we need. The support we get from our reps and the help team is fantastic and it really works within our budget.

HubSpot Support

I love the support team. Whenever I do need to call them, I actually get a little excited because I always learn something new, and they are willing to go above and beyond to make sure I'm happy and have everything I need. They also aren't afraid to admit to me when they aren't sure of the answer. When that happens, they work to find out what they need to know to help me. I think HubSpot's support team is the best I've ever encountered, both professionally and personally.

No - It's not something either our clients or ourselves have needed. If it came to that point, it's definitely an option we would explore.
I was having an issue with the formatting of my forms for a particular client. I contacted HubSpot support via the email option so I could attach screen shots showing the differences between what was showing in my preview versus live. The HubSpot tech I was working with helped to adjust the coding within our forms' style sheet formatting so it would show up exactly the way I wanted it to, even though the support team aren't trained designers. Jason (the rep I was working with) was a huge help in this, and it just showed me how much each client means to HubSpot individually.

Using HubSpot

It's amazing, and the support staff is awesome. The tools are very easy to follow and use, and there are helpful guides in a variety of different areas. If you can't figure out what you need, the help base and knowledge forum is full of answers and of course, you can always count on the support staff. Plus, there's always training available if you're looking to expand your knowledge of the product.
ProsCons

  • Emails - very easy to set up a template and then it's simply drop in your text/images/CTA's and you're good to go! Plus, the reporting and analytics of our emails is very in-depth.
  • Landing pages: LOVE how easy it is to set up a new landing page, or a whole new campaign for that matter. While there are some little details that could get missed if you're not paying attention overall the set-up is extremely user friendly.
  • I haven't found any functions that are difficult so far. I suppose the CSS part of it would be, but since I don't use that as I'm not a coder, I can't say for sure!
