Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

HubSpot CRM is used across the sales and marketing teams in my company. The record management helps us make sure every team is aware of how others are interacting with a company/contact. The onboarding through their academy has been really useful for training and making sure all the team members are up to speed. We use sequences, tasks, and various reports/views to make sure people are followed up with but not bombarded.

Pros

  • Reports, task lists, and automated sequences are neat, clear, and usable
  • Training through HubSpot Academy--they have lots of content--and not just videos but articles, quizzes, and practical exercises
  • Features requests--forums to suggest improvements to the CRM. It seems HubSpot listens to these and makes improvements regularly

Cons

  • Tasks within sequences only associate to the contact and not to the deal/company--it makes sorting these difficult unless you use a report
  • When you merge two companies, there should be an option for which properties are the adopted properties of the new merged company
  • If filters could be applied to views using cross-object properties, a custom report isn't necessary to create these lists
  • Active contact lists are slow and not incredibly easy to use
I haven't used many others but at least visually, the design is nicer to use than others that I've seen. As far as I've heard from my colleagues, HubSpot CRM has been easier to manage and keep 'tidy' than others that people have used.
It has made it easier to ensure that marketing leads get passed into HubSpot CRM from another software that we use.

Useful for making sure everything is recorded in a central place, especially per contact/deal. Useful for analytics, reports, and tracking to see what is working and what isn't. Also useful for reaching out to prospects using sequences and a variety of types of contact. Not sure where it's less appropriate.
