Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

HubSpot CRM is being used for early lead management and deal qualification. Initially, it was onboarded to help the Business Development Team with lead generation, however, it is now being used by the sales organization to cultivate and manage their deals. Utilizing the task management features, communication templates, and import features is easy and straightforward. It allows visibility to deal status and great integration with Gmail and Google Calendar.
  • Task management and followup.
  • Import of company/account data.
  • Connection between deals, contacts, companies, and tasks.
  • Haven't quite figured out the right reports to include on dashboards.
  • 10k limit on entities (contacts, tasks, etc) within a company is low for large orgs.
I've used both MS Dynamics and Salesforce.com, and I can say without hesitation that HubSpot CRM is more intuitive, easier, and provides better visualization. With no training, I was able to log in and learn how to automate emails, create contacts, companies, and deals. The task management features available are a huge win, providing easy reminders for follow-up on deals.
We're using an old version of Microsoft CRM (on Prem). It is difficult to use, has no graphical interface, regularly crashes or boots users out, even when actively entering data. Dashboards in our implementation are nonexistent. System changes are impossible. There is no workflow for tasks. Adoption is poor at my company. In a prior life, I used Salesforce.com. My company had a fairly well-done implementation of Salesforce, and it was maintained by an expert administrator. Dashboarding was still difficult, and without an onsite expert (who started a year after I began using Salesforce) the product was very difficult to use and adoption was poor.

For a small company managing a sales organization and looking for an easy tool to manage its sales cycle, HubSpot CRM fits the bill. It is incredibly easy to use, intuitive to learn (I had no training), and provides great follow-up features for keeping deals on track. I've used Dynamics and Salesforce, and the graphical interface of HubSpot CRM is great.
