Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

I use HubSpot CRM to keep track of business relationships and view how my team is performing in progressing those relationships. Working with investors often means remaining top of mind and having a long time horizon for the relationship. HubSpot CRM makes it easy to know how often we are reaching out and their level of engagement. We also use HubSpot CRM to keep track of our portfolio's progress with investors so we can support them in their fundraising activities. The level of transparency and reporting HubSpot CRM provides for management means I can quickly see when fundraising has stalled and begin to diagnose if it has to do with a particular company's communication style, or investor targeting, or if it has to do with misaligned expectations throughout the fundraising process.

Pros

  • Reporting
  • Workflows and Automation
  • Email tracking and logging

Cons

  • Cross-object reporting is great but slow to load and challenging to know when to use.
  • It would be great to have template cross-object reports.
  • Filtering across objects for lists would be great.
  • Revenue growth
  • Cost Savings
  • Shorter deal cycles
I've used Zoho briefly and it lacked the luster HubSpot CRMt has. Using HubSpot CRM felt like using a CRM whereas Zoho occurred like a software solution that wasn't exactly positioned as a CRM but had features of one.
In my company we don't use the Hubspot Marketing features as our business is primarily through referrals.
I mentioned this in my previous response already.

Do you think HubSpot CRM delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with HubSpot CRM's feature set?

Yes

Did HubSpot CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

Yes

HubSpot CRM is well suited for early-stage companies looking for a way to keep track of sales conversations. As a company is building its sales systems and infrastructure HubSpot CRM is able to grow with them and has a suite of features to match a company's needs. HubSpot CRM is less suited for early-stage companies that don't have access to marketing specialists. Trying to use HubSpot CRM Marketing without an in-house expert or someone dedicated to building that department is challenging. Companies willing to dedicate the time to mastering marketing can so long as they lean into the courses and read through the material HubSpot CRM publishes in their Knowledge Base. Signing up for Hubspot Marketing without that level of commitment often means the business isn't set up for success and I've witnessed several companies try to use the Hubspot Marketing suite and inevitably downgrade their accounts because of this.
