Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We use HubSpot CRM t for pretty much everything in the commercial team. Sales, marketing and Customer Success all rely on it heavily on a day-to-day basis. The sales team use it for keeping track of all their accounts and logging their sales activity, as well as analysing sales performance and deal analysis. In the marketing team, we use it to create target lists and send marketing emails. We also use it for lead generation by hosting forms on our website, and also connect our LinkedIn Ads account to it. Customer Success also use HubSpot CRM to monitor merchant KPIs and track key dates during the onboarding process.

  • Automation and workflows
  • Marketing email suite is very easy to use
  • The integration between HHubSpot CRM and LinkedIN Ads can be quite clunky/buggy
  • Creating custom fields in HubSpot CRM can be tricky
  • Being able to filter contacts who have submitted a form in a particular month - this would be a really useful feature.
  • Allowing us to forecast deal data and pipeline
  • It has allowed us to build a strong SDR/BDR function
  • It has allowed us to retain more customers by giving access to Customer Success
In comparison to the previous CRM software I have used (Pipedrive),it has much greater functionality and it is a lot easier to use. The workflows in particular are very well set up and really easy to use, despite them often being quite complex in the back-end. Marketing email is another function that is very easy to use, and allows you to quickly and easily build templates.
We have implemented a full MQL and intent lead scoring process, based on form submissions/content downloads, page views and engagement with marketing emails. This allows marketing to pass over better qualified leads that are highly relevant and within our ICP. This has meant closer co-operation between sales and marketing as they have more faith in the quality of leads that are being passed over.
Pipedrive - HubSpot CRM is a lot more advanced than this, especially in relation to workflows/automation, and the ability to send marketing emails. It is also a lot easier to use and better at reporting on account data. Jiminny - Jiminny is a different tool, used for a different function entirely (recording sales calls) but they are both similar in terms of ease of use. The integration between Jiminny and HubSpot CRM is also very useful

Marketing - Automation and creating workflows so that inbound leads are allocated in a certain way, and their lifecycle stages etc. are kept up to date. Very useful for sharing content - whether by email or scheduling social posts. Sales - Useful for tracking activity of sales reps - e.g. call activity, email activity, enrolment in sequences etc. Also very good for running reports on deal data and pipeline/revenue forecasting etc. I'm unsure on how useful HubSpot CRM would be if you were very small (e.g. only around 200 accounts in Hubspot) or very large (50,000+)
