How does HubSpot stack up to the competitors?

Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

I use HubSpot on a daily basis to manage all accounts that are onboarding. I also use it to send welcome emails and use quite a few automation. I have found that emails are fairly inconsistent when sent from HubSpot. I have run into quite a few situations where the text color, font, spacing and links included in these emails will be different from what was actually added to the created template.

Pros

  • Ease of use
  • Task function
  • Ability to edit pages

Cons

  • The text color changes for some reason on templates and you're unable to see it's different until you check your Gmail.
  • Automations running too slow. We have specific triggers for automations and sometimes it takes quite some time to populate.
  • It would be nice if you didn't have to open a new section when adjusting or adding a new phone number to a contact.
  • First signing up was rough. Importing data from another CRM is not streamlined.
  • You're asking the wrong person about cost, rev growth or sales increase.
  • No clue on the ROI
It's different. I was used to Salesforce previously so there is a learning curve when switching CRM's.
I'm not in sales or marketing.
They're pretty different platforms when it comes to usability. Salesforce is a little more user-friendly but HubSpot has more customization options when it comes to workflows and automations.

Yes

The reason I am scoring this a 6 is simple because CRM team had to do quite a bit of build-out in order to get HubSpot in a good spot where it will work best for us. They are continuously working on making it better internally.
