Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage
IBM Cloud Object storage is being used to restore windows OVA and iseries images and backup. Since the images of iSeries are too large to transfer over the network, IBM recommended using MDM to transfer and restore on COS before it can be uploaded to Power system to configure.
- Manage, restore and available data as per demand.
- Easily maintain data on COS.
- High availability.
- COS can be provided as hyperlink to directly drag and drop.
- Positive - No need to maintain and pay as you use storage under smart tier.
- Negative - Price should be competitive.
Not yet explore on this side.
Cloud Aspera is very useful tool to transfer data in very quick and efficient way.
Yes of course, it helped to categorized our storage on an as-needed basis.
