We have connected it to SQL, Oracle, Azure Cloud, Excel, flat files, tm1 cubes without any problems.

Collaboration and Sharing

It's currently being used as a system of choice for my companies all BI reporting needs.

Likelihood to Recommend

IBM Cognos is great as an enterprise-level BI reporting solution for the company.
It lacks flexibility at times when putting together specific reports.
