Storage is used for its traditional purpose as storage. We use svc on top to extend virtualization. Storage is used across most of the landscape. Usage depends on [the] project and role requesting access to it as most of the roles have specific usage and loads that dictate the way we share the load on storage.

- Performance report out of the box.
- Interface slow due to animation
- Advanced troubleshooting requires CLI instead of GUI.
- More easy to follow resources on CLI.
- Great for storage per price if you consider the performance.
- Great scalability if you need to expand.
- Very stable over long usage times.
We have a multi-tier storage environment and FS5000 is the one responsible for the biggest storage space but the least used at it stores just backups. One step above we have the FS5100 One step above that we have the FS7200 As far as integration in the infrastructure the way FS5000 provides space is optimal.
