Overall Satisfaction with IBM Planning Analytics with Watson

I use the Planning Analytics with Watson platform to consolidate contributions from the various areas of client companies, accelerating the process of collecting and processing the information necessary for each budget cycle. With the application of the Planning Analytics with Watson platform, I can gather all the business rules necessary for the preparation of financial statements in a single repository.
  • Elaboration of several scenarios and the option to adopt them when validated.
  • High-speed data processing.
  • Flexibility to apply business rules.
  • Information search engine for cube data.
  • Mechanism for promoting artifacts from non-productive environments to the productive environment.
  • Documentation generator.
  • Single repository of rules applied in budget cycles
  • Speed in collecting information from the most diverse areas of the company
  • Processing large volumes of data.
  • Application of multiple layers of data security.
Scenario simulation is used in all the implementations I have carried out in the last 10 years. Through the various existing ways of simulating scenarios using the Planning Analytics with Watson platform, it was possible to guarantee my clients the ability to react immediately with pre-defined measures and pre-evaluated results.

Yes

Did implementation of IBM Planning Analytics go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IBM Planning Analytics again?

Yes

On all occasions that I activated support for the Planning Analytics with Watson platform, I was very well attended. There wasn't even a single problem that wasn't resolved in the expected time. What impresses me the most is the speed in answering calls that directly impact the production environment, as the support team responds immediately.
The Planning Analytics with Watson platform has been improving a lot in terms of usability, but there is still opportunity to improve the end-user experience. It is very common for users who are new to the platform to have difficulty with the concept of cubes, but over time, for those who use it more often, the experience is always very good.
The Planning Analytics with Watson platform is recommended for companies that need to collect information from several areas and/or need to process complex consolidations in large volumes of data. It is a platform that manages to store all business rules in a single repository, in addition to eliminating technology infrastructure costs.
