Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power servers

  • Data Mirror
  • cloud services
  • high availabilty
  • ability to scale the hardware based on needs
  • Better spool file handling
  • Keeping the faith with the older generation of users IE the green screen for IBM I
  • Better support for legacy hardware. There are so many businesses still using outdated hardware and ora. They do this because, even though it is old and dated, they are STILL great!

  • Occasionally poor customer service when placing a service call. The IBM techs are great but the initial process can frustrate them at times.
  • The end users have almost all provided positive feedback over the previous non-IBM solutions
  • The ease of use by our tech staff to create, implement, modify, and troubleshoot the systems
  • Microsoft Application Server (deprecated)
