Power Systems Virtual Server on IBM Cloud for AIX/Linux

Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power System Virtual Server

To host applications and move data, IBM virtual servers are used. We can easily expand the instances with fewer options. A customized OS should also be accessible in the marketplace, which is currently unavailable and which we are unable to employ for all application testing.
  • Services can be provided at a reduced price.
  • The IBM Cloud service is available 24 hours a day
  • a few UI adjustments are required.
  • Deployment can be difficult and confusing at sometimes.

Virtual server choices, as well as deployments and updates, are simple and clear compared to the IBM cloud. To begin with, the user interface is straightforward, allowing us to swiftly select and customize options in critical scenarios. AWS provides a large number of instances from which to choose based on our requirements, and upgrading an instance type is simple.
In order to run our instances, we need to deploy and host our code. Our primary worry was auto-scaling, which our IBM cloud virtual servers handled admirably. We utilize it to start projects for individual teams, and we keep our database on the server to make it more scalable and secure.
The usage of a single platform is advantageous since it removes unnecessary steps and allows for faster retrieval. It aids in the prevention of errors because if any action is incorrect, the user will be unable to complete the task, and it also has a smaller impact on business due to the user's perfection. It ensures that backups are available at all times.
Our clients' applications are hosted on IBM Cloud Virtual Servers. The auto-scaling feature is quite helpful, and it has resolved all of our customers' issues. We use virtual servers for our databases as well because they are more secure and stable.
