DOORS is used in my organisation for the required handling of various products and across all the major departments. It is used for requirement tracking and tagging in Active Safety, Passive Safety, Driver Assistance and many more departments. It is used in majority of the departments in my organisation for tracking the requirements. There is a server-defined for DOORS itself where all the database lies.
Various access right is required to get to the documents. It majorly solves the issue of tracking the requirements. It is linked with several other tools so that the linking is done to know about the coverage status of a particular requirement.

The functionalities and the features used are much more and better than any tools available out there in the requirement.
