Overall Satisfaction with IBM Turbonomic
We are using IBM Trubonomic as the Application Performance Monitoring and Analytics Solution in our existing customers. Some times for certain customers we use IBM Turbonomic as the infrastructure such as Servers, Databases, Storage etc monitoring solution in conjuction to Apps monitoring. IBM Turbonomic is then integrated with other Event Management and Ticketing solution for end to end workflows.

- Advance Event Correlation
- Incident Prediction
- Improved MTTR due to correlated alerts

- Easy to use , no need to have multiple solutions
- Better Application Management due to SaaS
IBM Turbonomic is still trying the pick the pace and against the other products in the market. It is equivalent to SolarWinds, LogicMonitor and some part of AppDynamics but far behind SPLUNK Enterpsie and ServiceNow Now Platform due to the fact that they offer open wide platform where you design your own workflows, your own logic etc. Still with its out of box capabilities it stands good.

IBM Turbonomic has provided combined visibility into the applications for its performance or availability (specially business critical apps) and the dependent infrastructure, however still there are areas of improvement such as advance correlation among infra and apps (specially network components are missing). Algorithm flexibility in AIOps or prediction is a need of todays time.
Monitoring and Support staff has been benefited the most after the Application Deveopers since now they have visibility into the performance of their apps quickly with root cause findings. However impact on the larger staff such as management, infras support team is not that great due to the fact that they use their own products for their work.
IBM Turbonomic has reduced the following -
1. Cost on Infrastructure.
2. Cost on Databases.
3. Cost on Operating Systems.
4. Cost on Maintaining Infra, Database, storage, backup etc.
Before cloud version and other products we had a bad experience with expanding database as the monitoring scope increases which was a big challenge and with this solution it just got solved.
