Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

Insightly CRM is used by our sales staff and account managers to maintain information on all of our advertising contacts, both prospects and existing clients. We had previously used Salesforce, but found it to be overkill for our needs, and cumbersome to use and maintain. Insightly's feature set just better matched our company's needs.
  • Insightly's social media integration provides additional details and insight into our clients and prospects, right at our fingertips.
  • Easy to look up,edit and maintain records.
  • Good integration with Google Apps and Gmail
  • The opportunities feature provides a good tool to monitor and manage the sales funnel and proposal queue.
  • Insightly's related links are one of its best features. You can link most any record to any other record (for example, you can make a note under a contact, and then link that note to the company record, the client's boss, and the opportunity record for the proposal you sent her.
  • Insightly's tagging system is flexible and easy to use, a great tool for segmenting and grouping records.
  • Reporting is weak. Limited to existing reports. No ability to do custom reporting.
  • Can't change the screen layouts. Custom fields are all grouped in one area, you can't change the layout to group related fields together, make new sections, etc. Zoho CRM is much better in its ability to customizes the displays.
  • It is a great CRM, but it is not a suite. They recently added the ability to do email campaigns, which is a great new feature. But it does not integrate with other modules the way Zoho does.
  • Better client follow up and opportunity tracking
  • More cost-effective than SalesForce
  • Salesforce.com,Zoho CRM
Salesforce and Zoho are both good products. But if you need a basic, easy to use CRM, Insightly is a better choice. If you need more marketing automation or CRM customization, Zoho or Salesforce are better choices.
Insightly is my #1 choice for companies that need a basic CRM that is easy to learn, use and implement. If you need tight integration with a suite of services, other options may be a better choice.
